Giant Eagle Classic App Reviews

This would have been a 5 star rating, but its now 1 star. I havent been able to clip ecoupons for 3 months now. If you would listen to what the comments say you would see people are having problems with this app. Most apps fix their problems but youve updated at least 2 times in 3 months and the problem isnt getting fixed. Im about to delete your app just because it isnt working anymore! Please fix the issues!

It drives me crazy that I have to log in every time I want to use the card from the app. Needs to be able to log in with fingerprint or actually keep you logged in.

Cant use shopping list in the store as phone wont connect via wi-fi or cellular while inside but works just fine in the parking lot. Constantly signs out and doesnt remember signing even when "Remember Me" is checked. Very frustrating app.

It came in handy when checking out but now, because you have to log in every time its open, and cell/wifi service isnt really great in many stores, its pretty much useless. Change it back so it stays logged on and it will solve a major issue.

This used to be a pretty good app it stored your login and your store. Now it wont even open and if you are lucky enough for it to open you have to log in and select a store. Would be nice if they would fix it.They should fire whoever is in charge of developing the app.

Works well except that I have to sign in far too often. When Im standing in line its too Time consuming to login. Its quicker to use the old bar chart card. I am considering taking this app off my phone.

This is an awful app!!! Can never log in. Total waste of time, ended up deleting it........

Annoying that every update makes it forget my password. It should remember for users smooth transition from old to newer version without forgetting password. ***You could fix this by putting in TouchID. 1 word: Wallet (formerly passbook), please!!! Then 5 stars. Come on to the 21st century Giant eagle!! Also, ever heard of Apple pay??!? Make your lines faster and customers happier. ***Frustrated they just dont have it together.

I was excited to find the app, made my list but when I entered the store it wouldnt open. Had to shop from memory and ended up forgetting a few things. Waste of time!

Remember me doesnt work and you have to login every time you get to the check out. Wont even remember your email address anymore.

Where is a "search" function?? Cant see if an item is available without going to store!!

This app is more trouble than its worth really. Every. Single. Time. I go to the grocery store or to get gas I have to type in my whole email, password, and then wait again for it to bring up my digital card. The remember me does not work and why is there no Touch ID?

I really want this app to work, but no joy here. Most ecoupons do not work. Unable to clip. They should really take this down until it functions properly. Whoever developed the app did a terrible job with functionality. Basic commands, links, log out issues, etc. they put out and update last month, and it has the same bugs. The developer should not be paid.

Ever since the latest update the app does not work at all. Every time I open the app all that it shows is a barcode and says that it is unable to load. There are no options or menu selections available.

You have the remember me check box. Did the programmers forget to code it?

No Passbook or Wallet support. No TouchID App forgets your login on upgrades. FAQ link in help leads to a 404 page. How hard could it be? Seriously! Bringing up my card is a bigger pain in the hinder than carrying the card or waiting for the clerk to punch in my phone number. Every other grocery in my market has this figured out. Why not GE? UPDATE: Still no change. A poor app. UPDATE: Just found out that the logins arent backed up to iCloud like a well developed app. Had to log in while standing in line. UPDATE: now doesnt remember login. This will definitely hold up check out likes. Ill keep shopping at Kroger.

Very frustrating when I cant use the giant eagle card in app at the gas pump and the annoyance of trying to log on every time at grocery checkout line.

Need to log in every time to get GE number. Still. Not fingerprint enabled. Still. Eoffers take forever to load. Still. Easily the worst app I use. Amazing how little giant eagle cares to fix these problems that have gone on way too long.

Like their stores it needs a LOT of work...

After repeated attempts at telling the company this app is broken, I am now boycotting Giant eagle! I suggest you do the same. Shareholders, Fire this CEO! Never works when trying to add products to the shopping list. Slow opening lists. If the store does not have wifi, the shopping list is useless. Fire the app developers and hire new ones! Update. I really thought the app developers would have been fired by now, but management have their heads you know where. Im going to another store. Totally useless app. Worst on iTunes!
