App is not a friend for a smart shopper

Its clear that Giant Eagle has put a lot of thinking into this app (eg savings on fuel perks, balance, etc). While the app does provide some limited history of shopping at Giant Eagle, it does not provide history of the price you paid for a particular item. Nor does the app provide the ability to share lists with other non chain specific grocery apps. In this day of open transparency and smart shopping, it is very disappointing that we cannot have brand apps provide real exchange of info. No one is only shopping at one specific chain these days, so why do these guys pretend that customers do?? Finally, it is well beyond me as why Giant Eagle and others do not support storage of their cards in Apples Passport???? Its like these stores want to stay in the 20th century or something.
